Our values lead us in every thing that we do.  Faculty, Students, & Families are expected to demonstrate respectful behaviour at all times when communicating in person, by phone, by email, or on social media in reference to Encore Studios.  Our physical space requires attendees to clean up after themselves and to report to our Administration any damage that may have been caused whether by accident or purposely.  Bullying & harassment will not be tolerated. 

All important information will be sent by email.  Students & families are responsible for checking the email address provided on their account regularly so as not to miss any important information.

We also use text from time-to-time for reminders.  Opting in to the text option on your account will help facilitate this type of communication.  

All students & families are encouraged to follow Encore Studios on social media:  @encoreperformer.com on Facebook, @encorestudioswpg on Instagram.

Encore Studios is not responsible for providing before/after class care for students or their siblings.  Please make every effort to drop off/pick up your child in a timely manner.  

We strive to provide a comfortable, safe, home-like environment for those students who spend a lot of time here, however, please make sure your child is mature enough to be left on their own before leaving them without your personal supervision while they are not in their scheduled class.  

We are not equipped to provide child-care before/after your child’s class.

Our Uniform Requirements as outlined in our 2024 - 2025 Registration Guide provide GENDER NEUTRAL options. Choose which option is most comfortable for the dancer.

All students are expected to be dressed in the appropriate dancewear as outlined in our 2024-2025 Registration Guide available on our website   https://www.encoreperformer.com.

No jeans, jeggings, bare midriffs, or outdoor footwear is allowed.

Encore Studios reserves the right to adjust a student's hairstyle to meet the expectations outlined in our 2024-2025 Registration Guide.

Uniforms must be form-fitted to allow our instructors to do their best work for you. No oversized hoodies, sweatshirts, or pants allowed.ns.

Encore Studios is not responsible for any loss or damage of personal items due to any reason. Lockers are available for use however students must bring their own lock.

Parents & guests are welcome to observe classes from the lobby on our Closed Circuit television.  Please be award that we make every effort to ensure the cameras are working however some technical disruptions may occur and are beyond our control. 

Parents & guests are not to enter the studio during class time, with the exception of 1 parent / guardian per dancer registered for Mini Stars.  Parents & guests are invited to watch in person all Little Stars, Junior Stars, Pre-Competitive, & Core Classes in the studio twice throughout the season at our In-House Performance Weeks, which take place in November & February.  Parents & guests can also have the opportunity to watch the dancers perform in our Winter Concert & Stars on Stage year-end celebration recital.  Please see below for more details.

Registration fee of $35 per dancer (unless otherwise noted) is due at registration and non-refundable.

GST will be added to all tuition payments.

Full Season Tuition for Little Stars, Junior Stars, Pre-Competitive, & Core Classes:

• $492  per 45-minute class
• $656 1 hour class
• $799 per 75-minutes class

Tuition listed is for 1 student taking 1 class per week for the full season, September 16, 2024 - June 15, 2025, for a minimum of 32 classes.  (unless otherwise noted), along with the tuition payment and is non-refundable. 

There are no credits/refunds for missed classes, although we do allow make-up classes between September 2024 - February 2025 inclusively.

TUITION FOR MINI STARS CLASSES

• $109 + GST per session

Tuition is for 1 student and one parent taking one 45-minute class per week for a session. Each session is 8 weeks. No Registration Fee. Tuition is due upon registration. We cannot hold spots for unpaid tuition. There are no tuition refunds under any circumstances. Cannot be combined with any other offer including the Multiclass/Family Discount. There are no credits/refunds for missed classes.

1.  NEW - Monthly Payments

• Down payment due at registration, then 9 monthly payments due on the 15th of September, 2024 - May 2025.

45-MIN CLASS:  Down payment of $96 + reg fee, Monthly payments of $44

1 HOUR CLASS:  Down payment of $125 + reg fee, Monthly payments of $59

75-MIN CLASS:  Down payment of $160 + reg fee, Monthly payments of $71

2.  Three Installments

• First installment due at registration + reg fee, second installment due November 15, 2024, third installment due February 15, 2025.

45-MIN CLASS:  Installments of $164

1 HOUR CLASS:  Installments of $219

75-MIN CLASS:  Installments of  $267

3.  One Payment

• Pay in full at registration including the registration fee.

Register & pay in full for the 2024-2025 season before July 31, 2024 to get an 8% discount on tuition.

Valid ONLY for registrations completed between before July 31, 2024.

Discount is applied per student that is registered & paid in full by July 31, 2024 for the 2024-2025 season. No cash value. Cannot be combined with other offers. Multi-class discount still applicable. Not valid for Mini Stars classes.

 After the first full-price class, receive a 5% discount on each additional class tuition. Valid for multiple classes for one student or for multiple students within the immediate family (must be on one family account).

The discount will be applied to each payment, or if the customer has chosen the pay in full option, the discount will be applied to the full payment.

Visa & MasterCard.

Accepted forms of payment are to be kept on file for the duration of the season for automated processing. No exceptions.

Other than the tuition and performance fees outlined in our policies, the following fees and due dates are applicable to students registered in Pre-Competitive Program classes:

• Costume Fee of $125 + GST due October 15th, 2024
• Competition Fee of $130 + GST due December 15th, 2024.
• Coaching Fee of $85 + GST due February 15th, 2025.

*NB There are additional fees for the Winter Concert and Recital that will be discounted as costume fees are covered separately for the Pre-Competitive Program.

Encore Studios reserves the right to make changes to the schedule as may be required, limit registrations, and class sizes.

Encore Studios reserves the right to change a student's class should it better suit the student's level & needs, or if the class they originally registered for is not suitable for them for any reason.

Encore Studios reserves the right to adjust the class length to accommodate technical setup and COVID-19 cleaning protocols. In the event of closures or restrictions due to COVID-19 or other unforeseen circumstances, recommended or mandated by a governing body, classes will continue virtually. We are not able to refund or pro-rate due to unforeseen closures. Withdrawal and Refund policies will remain in place in the event of unforeseen closures.

HOLIDAYS / FAMILY DAYS

There are no classes on Thanksgiving Monday, Remembrance Day, Louis Riel Day, Easter Weekend, or Victoria Day Weekend. We close for Winter and Spring Break parallel to the public school breaks.

ATTENDANCE

Students are expected to attend their classes each week. If they are unable to attend, parents are asked to notify the studio in advance.

Regular mindful attendance will go a long way towards seeing results and progress.

To withdraw from a class for any reason:

1. Send an email to office@encoreperformer.com, or call 204-235-0879 to request a Withdrawal Form.
2. Complete and Submit the required Withdrawal Form.
3. Withdrawals will be processed as of the date of submission, not the date of the request.
4. Please allow 7 business days for confirmation of the submission.

WORRY FREE REGISTRATION - For withdrawals submitted within the first three classes prior to November 15, 2024: 

• The family will receive an e-transfer for the tuition paid, less the tuition of 3 classes + $20 processing fee. 

For withdrawals submitted ON OR BEFORE February 1, 2025:

• A withdrawal fee of $35 will be applied to the customer account
• If there is an outstanding balance the customer will have 30 days to make payment in full
• Any outstanding credit will be kept on file and will remain valid for 2 years

For withdrawals submitted AFTER February 1, 2025:

• A withdrawal fee of $50 will be applied to the customer account
• If there is an outstanding balance the customer will have 30 days to make payment in full.  This includes fees for recital.  Please see below for more info on recital fees.
• Any outstanding credit will be kept on file and will remain valid for 2 years

Other than the 'Worry Free' return of tuition as outlined above for withdrawals submitted within the first three classes prior to November 15, 2023, we have a NO refunds policy.

Outside of the 'Worry Free' policy, we offer NO REFUNDS under any circumstances.

We DO keep tuition credits on file that will remain valid for 2 years and are fully transferable.

• Late Fee for missed payments or declined credit card is $25.
• Any family account that is past due more than 30 days will be subject to an additional LATE FEE of 5% of the outstanding balance which will be applied monthly until the account is up to date.

All Little Stars, Junior Stars, & Pre-Competitive classes will participate in the Stars on Stage year-end celebration recital (or Stars on Film if required due to public health restrictions). The Stars on Stage recital will take place mid-June 2025 (exact date TBA) at the Centennial Concert Hall. Observer tickets for the recital will go on sale in the spring of 2025 through the Centennial Concert Hall Box Office for approximately $25 each + agency fees. Performers do not need tickets.

To keep the length of the recital comfortable for young & old, not all Core Classes participate in the Stars on Stage year-end celebration recital. Participating classes will have "(Recital Class)" or "*Recital Class*" beside the class on the schedule on the Customer Portal, or "✅RECITAL" beside the class on the website, printed, & Registration Guide schedule. 

ANNUAL YEAR-END CELEBRATION RECITAL COSTUME, PHOTO, & VIDEO FEE

Little Stars, Junior Stars, Pre-Competitive, & Core students that have registered in a 'Recital Class'  will be participating in our recital and will require the purchase of 1 Recital Performance Package for each participating class. Each Performance Package includes:

• 1 costume
• 1 group & individual photo digital download
• 1 keepsake video download of the recital (one per family. For students in multiple classes or for families registered for more than one class, a credit of $30 per performance package, after the first full price package, will be applied).

If a student is not able to participate in the recital, Encore Studios must be notified in writing by email to office@encoreperformer.com NO LATER THAN JANUARY 15, 2025. After this date, each Little Stars, Junior Stars, Pre-Competitive, & Core students that have registered in a 'Recital Class' will be expected to be in the recital and required to pay for the applicable RECITAL COSTUME, PHOTO, & VIDEO FEE.

RECITAL COSTUMES

All recital costumes are supplied by Encore Studios from our designated suppliers.

Costumes will be distributed in May 2025 only to family accounts in good standing.

Student measurements for costumes will be done in class in February 2025 (we always allow room for growth).

RECITAL COSTUME, PHOTO, & VIDEO FEE PAYMENTS

Fees for the RECITAL COSTUME, PHOTO, & VIDEO FEE will be processed using the payment method on the family account as follows:

• $90* + GST on January 15, 2025
• $90* + GST on March 15 ,2025

*For students registered in Pre-Competitive Classes, the Recital Fee will be discounted as costume fees are covered separately for the Pre-Competitive Program.

All Little Stars & Junior Stars & Pre-Competitive classes will participate in the Winter Concert held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Jubilee Theatre. Observer tickets for the concert will go on sale in November/December of 2024 for approximately $20 each. Performers do not need tickets.

STAGE, VIDEO, & COSTUME RENTAL FEE

Students in the Little Stars & Junior Stars & Pre-Competitive classes will require 1 Winter Concert Stage, Video, & Costume Rental Fee for each class they are registered for.

Each Winter Concert Performance Package includes:

• 1 rental costume
• 1 keepsake video download of the Winter Concert (one per family. For students in multiple classes or for families registered for more than one class, a credit of $30 per Winter Concert Performance Package, after the first full price package, will be applied).

If a student is not able to participate in the Winter Concert, Encore Studios must be notified in writing by email to office@encoreperformer.com NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER 15, 2024. After this date, each Little Stars, Junior Stars, & Pre-Competitive student will be expected to be in the concert and are required to pay for the applicable Winter Concert Stage, Video, & Costume Rental Fee.

WINTER CONCERT COSTUMES

All Winter Concert costumes are supplied by Encore Studios from our inventory and must be returned immediately following the Winter Concert. Costumes not returned will be subject to a $50 + GST fee to cover the cost of the costume.

Costumes will be distributed to the students at the theatre and should be returned immediately following the show.

WINTER CONCERT STAGE, VIDEO, & COSTUME RENTAL FEE PAYMENT

Fees for the WINTER CONCERT STAGE, VIDEO, & COSTUME RENTAL will be $65* + GST  and processed using the payment method on the family account on November 15, 2024.

*For students registered in Pre-Competitive Classes, the Winter Concert Fee will be discounted as costume fees are covered separately for the Pre-Competitive Program.

The default registration agreement is that registered families agree that any picture/video of me/my child may be used for promotional purposes for Encore Studios. Encore Studios will not identify the student in any way, except by first name ONLY. The picture/video may be used in, but not limited to, print, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, on Encore Studios website, etc.

If you wish to withdraw permission for Encore Studios to use your child’s picture/video for promotional purposes, there is an option to do so. Please ask the front desk for access to this online form.

ALL REGISTERED FAMILIES AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING WAIVER:

I hereby release Encore Studios, its Director, instructors, employees, and volunteers, jointly and severally, of and from any and all claims, demands, rights and causes of action of whatsoever kind and nature, arising from and by any reason of any loss thereto, any death, sickness, loss or damage to property including loss or theft of personal property incurred by me and/or my child any time during participation in any activity connected with Encore Studios, whether such claims or liability arises from the conduct of action whatsoever which may now exist or come into existence at any time in the future.

I further represent and warrant that me/my child will not participate in any activity of Encore Studios unless in good health and have no physical condition that would prevent the student from participating in those activities. I choose to participate or have my child participate, at my/their own risk in any activity of Encore Studios.

I hereby agree that this Waiver shall be binding upon me/my child as a student of Encore Studios.
