We want you to feel informed and supported throughout the year.

We ask all faculty, students, and families to:

• Communicate respectfully in person, by phone, email, or social media
• Care for our shared space and report any accidental damage
• Support a safe environment free from bullying or harassment

Encore Studios is not equipped to provide child‑care before or after classes.

• Please drop off and pick up your dancer on time.
• If your dancer spends extended time at the studio, ensure they are mature enough to be unsupervised outside of class time.
• We strive to create a comfortable, home‑like environment — your partnership helps us keep it safe.

Uniforms help instructors see alignment and support your dancer’s progress.

• Full uniform details are available in the Registration Guide
• Students must arrive in appropriate dancewear.
• Not permitted: jeans, jeggings, bare midriffs, outdoor footwear, oversized hoodies/sweatshirts/pants.
• Hair must be styled according to program guidelines. Faculty may adjust hairstyles if needed for safe participation.

Uniforms should be form‑fitted so instructors can do their best work for your dancer.

Encore Studios is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items. Lockers are available — please bring your own lock.

We love sharing your dancer’s progress with you.

• Classes can be viewed from the lobby via closed‑circuit TV (technical disruptions may occur).
• Parents/guests do not enter studios during class, except one parent/guardian for Mini Stars.
• In‑House Performance Weeks take place in November & February for:
  • Little Stars
  • Junior Stars
  • Pre‑Competitive
  • Core Classes
  • RAD Ballet Exam Classes
• Not open for observation: Mini Stars, Adult Classes, Performance Division rehearsals.
• Families will also enjoy our Winter Concert and Stars on Stage year‑end recital.

• Tuition: $456 + GST for one 45-minute class/week
• Registration Fee: $35 per family
• No refunds
• Eligible for Little Stars discounts

• Sept 14, 2026 – June 12, 2027
• Tuition based on $660 for one 60‑minute class/week
• Registration Fee: $35 per family
• No refunds
• Eligible for Junior Stars/Core discounts

• Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions
• Drop‑In Rate: $26.50
• Tuition varies by number of classes per session
• No refunds
• Discounts built into tuition chart

• Tuition due upon registration
• Spots cannot be held without payment

• Monthly Payments (default): $99 deposit + 8 payments of $49
• Three Installments: $99 deposit + 3 payments of $130.67

Encore Studios may:

• Adjust schedules or class sizes
• Move students to a more suitable class
• Modify class length for technical or health‑related reasons
• Transition to virtual classes during public health or civic disruptions

Refund and withdrawal policies remain in effect during any such changes.

No classes on:

• Truth & Reconciliation Day
• Thanksgiving
• Remembrance Day
• Louis Riel Day
• Easter Weekend
• Victoria Day Weekend

We also close for Winter & Spring Break in alignment with public schools.

Consistent attendance supports progress and confidence. If your dancer will be absent, please notify the studio. 

• Costume Fee: $125 + GST (Oct 15, 2026)
• Competition Fee: $99 + GST (Dec 15, 2026)
• Coaching Fee: $85 + GST (Feb 15, 2027)
• Pre‑Competitive Waiver required

• December 12, 2026 — Jubilee Theatre
• Performance Package Fee: $75 + GST
• Additional classes: $39 + GST each
• Opt‑Out Deadline: November 15, 2026

• June 12, 2027 — Centennial Concert Hall
• Performance Package Fee: $93 + GST deposit + $93 + GST balance
• Opt‑Out Deadline: January 15, 2027

To withdraw:

1. Request a Withdrawal Form
2. Submit the completed form
3. Withdrawals take effect on the submission date
4. Allow 7 business days for confirmation

Withdraw on or before Feb 1, 2027

• $35 withdrawal fee
• Balances due within 30 days
• Credits valid for 2 years

Withdraw after Feb 1, 2027

• $50 withdrawal fee
• Balances (including recital fees) due within 30 days
• Credits valid for 2 years

There are no refunds under any circumstances, except under the Worry Free Registration policy. Credits remain valid for 2 years and are fully transferable.

Withdraw within the first three classes prior to Nov 15, 2026 and receive:

• An e‑transfer refund
• Less the cost of 3 classes + $20 processing fee

• Declined payments: $25 NSF fee
• Accounts 30+ days past due: 5% monthly late fee

By registering, families agree that photos/videos of their dancer may be used for Encore Studios promotional purposes. Students will only be identified by first name.
