We ask all faculty, students, and families to:

Encore Studios is not equipped to provide child‑care before or after classes.

• Please drop off and pick up your dancer on time.
• If your dancer spends extended time at the studio, ensure they are mature enough to be unsupervised outside of class time.
• We strive to create a comfortable, home‑like environment — your partnership helps us keep it safe.

Uniforms help instructors see alignment and support your dancer’s progress.

• Full uniform details are available in the Registration Guide
• Students must arrive in appropriate dancewear.
• Not permitted: jeans, jeggings, bare midriffs, outdoor footwear, oversized hoodies/sweatshirts/pants.
• Hair must be styled according to program guidelines. Faculty may adjust hairstyles if needed for safe participation.

Uniforms should be form‑fitted so instructors can do their best work for your dancer.

Encore Studios is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items. Lockers are available — please bring your own lock.

We love sharing your dancer’s progress with you.

• Classes can be viewed from the lobby via closed‑circuit TV (technical disruptions may occur).
• Parents/guests do not enter studios during class, except one parent/guardian for Mini Stars.
• In‑House Performance Weeks take place in November & February for:
  • Little Stars
  • Junior Stars
  • Pre‑Competitive
  • Core Classes
  • RAD Ballet Exam Classes
• Not open for observation: Mini Stars, Adult Classes, Performance Division rehearsals.
• Families will also enjoy our Winter Concert and Stars on Stage year‑end recital.

$134 + GST per session (one 45-minute class per week for 7 weeks) for 1 student + 1 parent

• Tuition varies by number of classes per session

• Discounts built into tuition chart, cannot be combined with other programs

• Visa & MasterCard preferred
• A valid credit card is required on file for all registrations
• Cash/debit payments must be made before the scheduled processing date or the credit card on file will be processed.

• Spots cannot be held without payment

Three options:

1. Monthly Payments (default): $99 deposit (includes $35 Admin/Reg fee) + 8 payments of $49 (October 15 - May 15)
2. Three Installments: $99 deposit (includes $35 Admin/Reg fee) + 3 payments of $130.67 (October 15, January 15, & March 15)
3. Pay in Full at registration

Three options:

1. Monthly Payments (default): $149 deposit (includes $35 Admin/Reg fee) + 8 payments of $68.25 (October 15 - May 15)
2. Three Installments: $149 deposit (includes $35 Admin/Reg fee) + 3 payments of $182 (October 15, January 15, & March 15)
3. Pay in Full at registration

• Drop‑Ins paid prior to class

• Applies to one dancer or siblings on the same account

Encore Studios may:

• Adjust schedules or class sizes
• Move students to a more suitable class
• Modify class length for technical or health‑related reasons
• Transition to virtual classes during public health or civic disruptions

Payment and withdrawal policies remain in effect during any such changes.

No classes on:

• Truth & Reconciliation Day
• Thanksgiving
• Remembrance Day
• Louis Riel Day
• Easter Weekend
• Victoria Day Weekend

We also close for Winter & Spring Break in alignment with public schools.

Consistent attendance supports progress and confidence. If your dancer will be absent, please notify the studio. 

• Costume Fee: $125 + GST (October 15, 2026)
• Competition Fee: $99 + GST (December 15, 2026)
• Coaching Fee: $85 + GST (February 15, 2027) - includes The Build Up dress rehearsal
• Pre‑Competitive Waiver required - click here to open the Waiver
• Winter Concert & Recital Fees will be discounted for Pre-Competitive programs as costume fees are already covered in the cost of the program.

Date:  December 19, 2026 — Desautels Theatre

Participants: Little Stars, Junior Stars, Pre-Competitive Program

Observer Tickets:  approx. $20

WINTER CONCERT PERFORMANCE PACKAGE FEE

• First class is $75 + GST due November 15, includes:
  • 1 rental costume
  • 1 video download (1 per family)
• Additional classes: $39 + GST each

Opt‑Out Deadline: November 15, 2026 (by email only)

Rental costumes will be distributed at the theatre and must be returned immediately after the show.

Pre‑Competitive students use program costumes and pay only one Video Fee of $36 + GST, and if they have additional classes they will pay a Costume Rental Fee of $39 + GST per class.

Date:  June 8, 2027 — Centennial Concert Hall

Participants:  Little Stars, Junior Stars, Pre-Competitive Program, some Core Classes as indicated in the Registration Guide

Observer Tickets: approx. $27 + agency fees

RECITAL PERFORMANCE PACKAGE FEE

• Performance Package Fee: $93 + GST deposit (due January, 2027) + $93 + GST balance (March 15, 2027)

Includes: 1 rental costume

• 1 costume
• 1 group & individual photo digital download
• Recital video download (1 per family)

• $36 credit per recital class will be applied to the balance payment (March 15) for students in multiple recital classes or for siblings on the same account

Opt‑Out Deadline: January 15, 2027 (by email only)

Pre‑Competitive students use program costumes and pay only one Picture & Video Fee of $61 + GST, and if they have additional recital classes they will pay a Costume Fee of $125 + GST per class.

Encore Studios accepts Visa and MasterCard for all tuition and fees. A valid card must be kept on file for the duration of the season to allow for secure, automated processing of scheduled payments. No exceptions. 

To withdraw:

1. Request a Withdrawal Form
2. Submit the completed form
3. Withdrawals take effect on the submission date
4. Allow 7 business days for confirmation

Withdraw on or before Feb 1, 2027

• $35 withdrawal fee
• Balances due within 30 days
• Credits valid for 2 years

Withdraw after Feb 1, 2027

• $50 withdrawal fee
• Balances (including recital fees) due within 30 days
• Credits valid for 2 years

Payments are final under any circumstances, except under the Worry Free Registration policy below. Credits remain valid for 2 years and are fully transferable.

Withdraw within the first three classes prior to Nov 15, 2026 and receive:

• An e‑transfer refund of tuition paid, less the cost of 3 classes per class registration + $20 processing fee

• Declined payments: $25 NSF fee
• Accounts 30+ days past due: 5% monthly late fee

By registering, families agree that photos/videos of their dancer may be used for Encore Studios promotional purposes. Students will only be identified by first name.
